Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's TV series "Push, Nevada" may be gone, but its money lingers on.
Mark Nakamoto, 24, of West New York, N.J., has claimed the $1 million prize by solving the on-air puzzles hidden in the now-canceled series, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The ratings disaster was given the axe in its fourth week, but the series was extended for seven episodes in order to complete the game.
Nakamoto, an assistant manager of a Manhattan publishing company, solved the "Push" puzzle after watching the episodes and the "Final Clue" broadcast during the Oct. 28 edition of ABC's "Monday Night Football," according to the newspaper.
The clue apparently led viewers to a series of letters taken from the episode. Together with a cipher, the letters corresponded to a telephone number.
Nakamoto was the first viewer to call it, though ABC said more than 10,000 people solved the puzzle.
"Push, Nevada," about a mysterious desert town, was co-produced by Affleck and Damon, along with Sean Bailey and Chris Moore, and debuted in September. As Affleck, 30, quipped to reporters at the time, "There's nothing like a cheap gimmick to get people to watch your show."
Only they didn't.
