Talk about getting the cold shoulder.
Oscar winner Russell Crowe has received a chilly reception from the online movie magazine Film Threat, which placed him atop its annual "Frigid 50" Tuesday. According to the publication, the list is designed to thaw some of the toasty adoration applied to stars like Crowe, whom the magazine claims is one of the coldest celebrities in Hollywood, the Associated Press reports.
The magazine called Crowe "our favorite wild boor, whose bad-boy big mouth and Redwood-sized chip-on-the-shoulder easily cost him an Oscar for 'A Beautiful Mind.'"
The New Zealand-born bruiser wasn't the only celebrity to feel the frostbite. Convicted shoplifter Winona Ryder, larger-than-life TV personality Anna Nicole Smith, politico Barbra Streisand, Richard Gere and Cuba Gooding Jr. also made the list.
Of Jennifer Lopez, also on the list, Film Threat's writers said, "We're just trying to remember when she was any good at all."
