NBC has made a semi-clean sweep of November.

With this month's television sweeps period drawing to a close, the network has declared victory over its rivals, thanks to some good "Friends" and a "Will & Grace" wedding.

Though sweeps -- the period during which stations use ratings to set ad rates -- doesn't end until Wednesday, NBC holds a narrow lead over CBS among adults 18 to 49, the demographic craved by advertisers. NBC and CBS were virtually tied among total viewers.

Jeff Zucker, president of NBC Entertainment, told reporters it was too early to tell which network would come out on top among viewers, Reuters reports. "The total viewer race may be the biggest surprise of the entire sweep," he said.

One more surprise is that ABC finally has something to be proud of: Its finale for "The Bachelor" pulled in a whopping 25.9 million viewers to land in third place for the week, according to Nielsen Media Research.

The Top 10 prime-time network shows for the week of Nov. 18-24 were as follows:

1. "Friends," NBC, 26.8 million viewers
2. "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," CBS, 26 million
3. "The Bachelor," ABC, 25.9 million
4. "E.R.," NBC, 25.9 million
5. "Will & Grace," NBC, 24.3 million
6. "Will & Grace Clip Show," NBC, 22.7 million
7. "Everybody Loves Raymond," CBS, 20.4 million
8. "Survivor: Thailand," CBS, 19.6 million
9. "Fraiser," NBC, 18.3 million
10. "Law & Order," NBC, 17.9 million
