More turkey and less TV: The top-ranked show for an otherwise sluggish Thanksgiving week was CBS's "Everybody Loves Raymond," which helped its network win the week with an average of 12.5 million viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research.
CBS also had seven of the Top 10 shows.
Meanwhile, in other turkey news, ABC tanked with "Dinotopia," the new series based on last year's miniseries, which pulled in a measly 5.7 million viewers Thursday night to land in 80th place overall. Viewers found more digestible holiday fare on Friday with NBC's "It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas" (11 million viewers), as well as Saturday with ABC's coverage of the USC-Notre Dame football game (10.8 million), and Sunday with CBS's Rob Lowe movie "The Christmas Shoes" (16.6 million).
Overall, NBC placed second with 11 million viewers; ABC, which sorely misses its ratings hit "The Bachelor," averaged 9.6 million; Fox nabbed 8.5 million; the WB, 4.5 million viewers; and UPN, 3.4 million.
Here's a rundown of the week's Top 10 shows:
1. "Everybody Loves Raymond," CBS, 20.5 million viewers
2. "CSI: Miami," CBS, 18.8 million
3. "NFL Monday Night Football," ABC, 16.9 million
4. "CBS Sunday Night Movie: The Christmas Shoes," 16.6 million
