Love is lovelier the second time around, according to the old Frank Sinatra song -- which is maybe a number Marc Anthony ought to sing.
The Latin singer and his wife, former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, are planning to renew their wedding vows Saturday at Puerto Rico's San Juan Cathedral, in the old part of the city, Anthony's publicist, Jennifer Neiman, tells the Associated Press.
As PEOPLE.com reported in early July, Anthony, 33, and Torres, 27, split up only 26 months after getting married in Las Vegas. Apparently, though, Anthony and Torres never legally filed for separation, and they reconciled in late October.
At the time of the breakup, their son Christian Anthony Muniz was 16 months old. Anthony also has a daughter, Arianna, born in 1994, whose mother is his former girlfriend Debbie Rosado.
As for Saturday's ceremony, Neiman, who will be a bridesmaid, says, "This is basically their church wedding that they never had."
"The first time we had a wedding it was very fast," Torres tells San Juan's Primera Hora newspaper.
"We didn't have much time to plan anything, and my family wasn't there, " she adds. "This is so my family has a chance to see me in a wedding dress and in a church."
