O'Donnell Coming Back to TV, Briefly

It may only be a guest spot, but Rosie O'Donnell, who left her syndicated daytime talk show last May, is due to resurface in a Feb. 25 guest spot on CBS's "Judging Amy."

The former Queen of Nice and magazine publisher, 40, will play a juvenile court judge overseeing the case against the foster child who killed Amy's stalker, the Associated Press reports. (In real life, O'Donnell is a strong children's rights advocate and the mother of four children; her youngest child, with partner Kelli Carpenter, was born in November.)

The appearance is slated for the all-important February sweeps period, which means the network has high hopes for Rosie's drawing power.

Meanwhile, CBS also plans to include, during sweeps, the reunion of Tyne Daly, 58, and Sharon Gless, 59. Daly's "Cagney and Lacey" costar will appear on "Judging Amy," on Feb. 11, playing a social services supervisor called in investigate complaints against Daly's character, Maxine.

Speaking of reunions, CBS's "Becker," starring Ted Danson, will have another reunion -- of the old "Cheers" gang. Well, two of them, at least.

Kelsey Grammer, 47, who played Frasier Crane at the old Boston bar, will reteam with Danson, 55, who played bartender Sam Malone, for the Feb. 16 episode of "Becker" -- which happens to shoot at the same studio as NBC's "Frasier," where Grammer now holds court.

This time out, Grammer's character will play an old college buddy of Danson's character. What, no Norm?
