ANTICIPATED: Nicole Kidman, hard at work promoting "The Hours" (for which she is likely to get a Best Actress Oscar nomination), tells Britain's Hello! Magazine that her divorce from Tom Cruise, "was the worst time in my 35 years of living, where all I felt was great sadness." As for finding love again, "I'd love to be swept off my feet at some stage. I really would," she said. "It would be nice to fall in love again. But I strongly believe that it will happen when I least expect it."
DELIVERED: German supermodel Claudia Schiffer, 32, gave birth to a 7 lb. baby boy by Caesarian section on Thursday, her spokeswoman tells Reuters. The baby is the first for both Schiffer, 32, and her husband since May, British film producer Matthew Vaughn, who was at her side in London's exclusive Portland Hospital for the birth. The spokeswoman says there was no immediate announcement of a name, but both mother and baby are doing very well and the parents are "thrilled."
HURT: Arnold Schwarzenegger, 55, was released Thursday from a Santa Monica hospital where he underwent surgery to repair a rotator cuff injury to his left shoulder suffered while he performed a stunt on the set of his upcoming "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines," reports Reuters. The Austrian-born action star is required to keep his shoulder immobilized in a tight sling for the next three to four weeks. In a statement, Schwarzenegger's publicist said the actor remains in good spirits.
TREATED: Sadie Frost, 34, the actress-wife of actor Jude Law, has been in London's $1,600-a-night Cromwell Hospital since last weekend, suffering from severe postnatal depression following the premature birth of their third child, Rudy, in September, the Associated Press reports. In a statement, Law, 30, said: "This depression ... has left Sadie feeling very sad and run down and she is just trying to get a handle on it. She has had so much on her plate recently and realizes she needs help and to catch her breath."
BUSTED: Rapper Juvenile (real name: Terius Gray), 27, was arrested in New Orleans Wednesday on drug charges with three other people when police smelled, then observed, two burning marijuana cigarettes in the rented Lincoln Town Car they were in, police spokesman Sgt. Paul Accardo said in a news release. The men were later charged with possession of cocaine after officers found a small amount of the drug in the trunk of the car, Accardo added. Gray reportedly also faces a simple robbery charge from an incident in September. Reps for Gray could not be reached for comment.
