The British media frenzy surrounding Jude Law and his wife of five years, actress Sadie Frost, hasn't relented. And now, the latest reports say the two have contacted divorce attorneys in London.
Law has blasted recent reports about the state of his marriage. But Britain's ITV and Sky News now report that the Laws have been living at separate residences since the "A.I. Artificial Intelligence" star, 30, flew to London from his Los Angeles home after Frost, 37, spent time in a private clinic.
Frost was suffering from what was described as postpartum depression following the birth of the couple's son, Rudy (they have three children together). She was reportedly recuperating at the couple's home in north London.
Monday's news of a possible divorce comes just a week after Law spoke out about his marriage following tabloid rumors that he and Nicole Kidman were having an affair while shooting the movie "Cold Mountain."
According to Australia's Sydney Morning Herald, Law insisted there was "absolutely no third party involved" in his marriage. "To suggest otherwise is malicious, hurtful and libelous."
In a statement released through his American publicist, Law went on to say: "Other than the fact that my wife has been suffering from post-natal depression -- for which she has been receiving treatment -- there is not one shred of truth in anything that has been written. "
