Osbournes Step Up Fight for Necklace
Don't mess with Sharon Osbourne, a bejeweled Hollywood agent is learning.
As PEOPLE.com reported earlier this week, the MTV matriarch, 50, was ticked off when an uninvited -- and unnamed -- guest walked off with a $15,000 diamond necklace raffled off during the Osbournes' New Year's Eve party at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
The guest, an agent with Hollywood powerhouse ICM, said she wasn't returning the bauble. Her agency also issued a statement supporting her stance.
But now, reports the Associated Press, the winner's identity has been established. Her name is Renee Tab. And on Wednesday, Beverly Hills Police Lieutenant Gary Gilmond confirmed to AP that the Osbournes have filed a theft report.
"Sharon is disappointed that the situation has not been resolved," a spokeswoman for the Osbournes tells the syndicated TV show "Celebrity Justice."
ICM is said to be standing firm in its decision to back Tab and her refusal to return the necklace.
"Accordingly," states the agency, "ICM believes the Osbournes owe both Ms. Tab and ICM an apology."
Meanwhile, the entire incident is being filmed for MTV's "The Osbournes."
