Among the many jaw-dropping revelations in last week's British-made documentary "Living with Michael Jackson" -- which aired on ABC's "20/20" -- was the musician's claim that the only plastic surgery he's had is two nose jobs, to help improve his singing voice.
But according to Los Angeles plastic surgeon Dr. Wallace Goodstein, speaking in an NBC "Dateline" profile of Jackson scheduled to air Monday, the musician, 44, has undergone "well over" 50 operations on his face.
Goodstein's expertise, according to the New York Post in a preview of the "Dateline" piece, is that the doctor shared a practice with Jackson's primary plastic surgeon.
"Dateline" calls its one-hour program "Michael Jackson Unmasked," and it also features an exclusive interview with retired LAPD Det. Bill Dworin, who investigated 1993 sexual misconduct allegations against Jackson, in which a 13-year-old boy claimed he was molested.
Jackson was never officially charged in the case, which has haunted him for the past decade. He eventually settled the lawsuit out of court, reportedly paying the boy's parents somewhere between $15 million and $20 million.
On "Dateline," Dworin is set to spill the beans on what police found during the 1993 investigation, says the Post, which reports that the retired law enforcement official says Jackson may still pose a threat to children,
On "Living with Michael Jackson," the star good-naturedly revealed that he still sleeps with children in his bed, and explained how there is no reason to believe that sex would be involved.
