With his annual income estimated to be $60 million, according to Fortune magazine, Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs is unlikely to go hungry. And now, he has one more place to do his eating.
The hip-hop entrepreneur, 32, is planning to open a restaurant in downtown Detroit, to be named Justin's -- after Combs's eldest son -- his associate, Andre Suite, tells the Associated Press.
There already are two Justin's: the original in New York and another in Atlanta. Both offer soul and Caribbean food. The new eatery will open in four to eight months at a location yet to be determined by Combs.
"We want to be right where the rebirth is -- one of the attractions in the downtown area," said Suite, the executive vice president of Justin's.
In other music news, top honors at Saturday's 17th annual Soul Train Awards went to Ashanti (best female R&B/soul single for "Foolish" and best album for her self-titled debut) and Musiq (best male R&B/soul single for "Dontchange" and best album in the same category for "Juslisen").
"I feel very, very, very good," Musiq said, according to AP. "I feel honored, and I feel grateful."
Mariah Carey and LL Cool J received career achievement awards, and rapper Nelly won the Sammy Davis Jr. Entertainer of the Year Award.
