The Jerry Seinfeld household has grown larger. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
The comedian, 48, and his wife of three and a half years, Jessica, 31, have welcomed their second child, a boy, Julian Kal Seinfeld, who was born at 2:16 p.m. on Saturday.
Spokeswoman Elizabeth Clark tells the Associated Press that Julian weighed in at 6 lbs. 7 oz. No further details were provided.
The couple's daughter, Sascha, turned 2 last November, and the Seinfelds have large homes in both Manhattan and in the Hamptons.
As of Monday, "Mom, Dad, Sascha and baby are all happy and healthy," said Clark.
When it was announced last fall that the Seinfelds were once again expecting, PEOPLE took a look at Jerry's post-sitcom home life -- and found that daughter Sascha "is the focus of his heart," said the comic's longtime friend and manager, George Shapiro.
Seinfeld has even made parenthood part of his standup act. Performing last year in Pittsburgh, he told the crowd, "When your eyes meet those eyes ... I never loved anyone so much at first meeting."
As the audience cooed, Seinfeld shifted gears: "But! Let's make no mistake why these babies come here: To replace us. We'll see who's wearing the diapers when all this is over."
