Jennifer Lopez may be in his heart, but "Daredevil" star Ben Affleck has Georgia on his mind. The actor is said to have made an offer on a $3.45 million, four-bedroom house on Savannah's East Gordon Street a few weeks ago, reports New York magazine.
"It's Charlestonian," broker B. Moody of Cora Bett Thomas Realty tells the magazine. "It has a guest house and beautiful side gardens."
Savannah's antebellum attitude has been drawing increased star power of late. Affleck apparently fell in love with the old-South town a few years back, while filming "Forces of Nature" there with actress Sandra Bullock. (She bought a $3.8 million "beachfront compound" there in 2001, the mag says.)
Rocker John Mellencamp also is said to have taken a pass by the Gordon Street home; he apparently almost bought the nearby Mercer House -- made famous by the book and movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" -- but the deal fell through.
Lopez, meanwhile, has some news of her own coming up: The video for her new single, "I'm Glad," debuts April 8 on MTV's "Making the Video," reports Launch.com. The actress and singer will appear that morning in an exclusive interview on "Good Morning America."
