Reality TV may cast yet another spell on viewers -- but this time, we already know the bride.
During a guest appearance on Tuesday night's edition of the "Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn," "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" star Melissa Joan Hart revealed that an ABC camera crew will follow her around for the next few months.
The reason? So the footage can be edited into an unscripted special or series that will trace how she is preparing for her summer wedding to musician Mark Wilkerson, rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist for the band Course of Nature. (The Alabama-bred group's first album, "Superkala," was released last year.)
"ABC, I think, is going to do a TV show based on (the wedding)," said Hart, 26, who could wind up bettering Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas for nuptials publicity. (Their splashy November 2000 wedding ended up only in magazines.)
As Hart told Kilborn on his CBS show, "I actually asked for it, because I thought it would be cool to have professionals really shooting the bachelorette party and the bachelor party and the engagement party and the bridal shower and going with me to try on my dress.
"And I'll have it all on video. I'm going to produce it so I'll have total control."
Regarding the ceremony, Hart previewed it as being "kind of small ... only 70 people, and we're probably doing it in Italy."
ABC representatives have not yet commented on Hart's remarks, reports Variety.
