PASSAGES: A $4 Mil Condo for Anthony
SLATED: John Mayer, who won a Grammy Sunday for best male pop vocal performance for "Your Body Is a Wonderland," is slated to tour this summer with the Counting Crows, reports the Associated Press. "Twenty thousand people smell great when they're in front of you, and I miss that smell," says Mayer. Before he hits the road, the musician is concentrating on releasing his newest song, "Why Georgia," from his platinum album "Room for Squares."
SALUTED: Christina Aguilera, 22, will be honored at the 14th annual Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation awards April 26 in Los Angeles, the organization has announced. GLAAD is recognizing Aguilera for the music video to her song "Beautiful." "Christina's decision to feature gay and transgender people in her video is a strong statement of inclusion, affirmation and acceptance," the group said.
REVEALED: Pamela Anderson, 35, unveiled a new poster for the animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals during a visit to Vienna, Austria (where she attended a charity opera ball). The poster shows the former "Baywatch" babe in a bikini made of three lettuce leaves. The message reads: "Turn over a new leaf: Try vegetarian." "A lot of people who wear fur are just not knowledgeable into all the pain and suffering that goes into making fur coats," she told reporters.
HONORED: Milan-based Italian fashion legend Giorgio Armani, 68, will soon be honored on the pavement of Beverly Hills's fashionable Rodeo Drive, the Los Angeles Times reports. The street is starting its own Walk of Style -- just as the down-market Hollywood Boulevard has its Walk of Fame. Armani's tribute will be held March 19, says the Times.
