Norah Jones's Grammy sweep for her debut album, "Come Away With Me" has translated into sales of 621,000 copies -- a jump of nearly 500,000 (or 331 percent) over her previous week's sales and the biggest post-Grammy sales spike ever, her label, Blue Note Records, tells the Associated Press.
The CD won eight Grammys at the Feb. 23 ceremony, including album of the year, and holds the No. 1 spot on American charts, according to figures released Wednesday. So far, the pop-jazz album has sold 4.2 million copies.
Jones, 23 and a veritable newcomer, also was named Grammy's best new artist, and her single, "Don't Know Why," won record and song of the year.
(Bruce Springsteen, 53, who took home three Grammys, also received a sales kick: his "The Rising" rose from No. 129 on the charts to No. 27.)
Meanwhile, in other Jones news, she'll join Ray Charles, Mark Knopfler and Ben Harper as headliners at the 24th edition of the Montreal Jazz Festival, one of the world's largest musical gatherings, from June 26 to July 6, reports Reuters.
Her concert will take place July 2.
