Fact vs. Fiction Plays Out on Tube

Just because it's real, doesn't mean it's good. That's what some TV executives are finding out, as several new reality shows have tanked in the ratings.

Among the losers: ABC, whose "All American Girl" and "Are You Hot?" are proving to be neither, and "Married by America," FOX's follow-up to the popular "Joe Millionaire" series, according to Nielsen Media Research.

However, some reality mainstays, including FOX's "American Idol," CBS's "Survivor" and NBC's "Fear Factor," continued to pull down impressive numbers.

Overall, CBS led the week with most viewers, followed by NBC, FOX and ABC.

Last week's Top 10 shows were as follows:

1. "CSI," CBS, 28.6 million viewers
2. "American Idol," Tuesday, FOX, 22 million
3. "Survivor: Amazon," CBS, 21.1 million
4. "Friends," NBC, 21 million
5. "E.R.," NBC, 20.9 million
6. "Everybody Loves Raymond," CBS, 19.5 million
7. "CSI: Miami," CBS, 19 million
8. "Fear Factor," NBC, 18.3 million
9. "American Idol," Wednesday, FOX, 18.3 million
10. "Law & Order: SVU," NBC, 17 million
