Walters Reschedules Her Oscar Chatfest
Babs's annual pre-Academy Award ceremony interview special, which was preempted by the war, will air next Tuesday.

The show went on for the Oscars, but with war raging in Iraq, Barbara Walters decided last Sunday was no time to be yukking it up with Renee Zellweger.
Now, Babs's annual pre-Oscar special has been rescheduled to air on ABC Tuesday at 10 p.m., with a few revisions to reflect outcomes of the Academy Awards.
Of course, hindsight is 20/20, but none of the subjects of this year's chatfest -- Zellweger, Nicolas Cage or Julianne Moore -- was able to pull off an Oscar win. Cage was usurped by surprise winner Adrien Brody in "The Pianist," Zellweger lost to Nicole Kidman in "The Hours" and double nominee Moore failed to score in either the Best Actress or Supporting Actress categories.
Walters, for her part, issued a statement last week agreeing with the network decision to put her special on hold.
"With such serious issues facing the nation, it was the right decision to postpone the special," she said.
