We're sure Celine Dion will wow the crowds tonight, but just in case she doesn't, no problem -- the Canadian songstress has another two years and 364 days to go until her last curtain call.

This is a big day for Dion. Most significantly, tonight marks the start of Dion's three-year stand at Las Vegas's Caesars Palace -- not to mention the premiere of her CBS special, "Celine In Las Vegas...Opening Night Live," and the debut of her new album, "One Heart."

For the high-tech, high-gloss Caesars extravaganza -- staged by Cirque du Soleil veteran designer Franco Dragone -- Dion will share the stage with more than 50 dancers, singers and musicians. A massive, stage-spanning $6 million LED screen adorned with doors and catwalks will allow an array of special effects, notes Wired News (Dion is even said to fly above the crowd during the performance) while a high-humidity microclimate will help the singer protect her voice while she wows fans with hits like the "Titanic" theme "My Heart Will Go On."

Paradoxically, while most visitors hit Las Vegas to indulge in their favorite forms of debauchery, Dion has moved to Sin City to have a "normal" life, notes the Christian Science Monitor. The singer has been outspoken about her desire to remain in one place and raise her toddler son, Rene Charles, with husband-manager Rene Angelil.
