Elton, Billy, Kelly Cancel Toronto Gigs
Joel, John and the "American Idol" have all pulled out of Monday's planned appearances in the Canadian city due to the SARS outbreak.

Monday will not sound as good as it was supposed to in Toronto.
Two major music gigs, one starring Elton John and Billy Joel, and the other with "American Idol" winner Kelly Clarkson, have been canceled due to the SARS outbreak, reports Billboard.
Joel and John's show, scheduled for the Air Canada Center, had sold out in 20 minutes when tickets first went on sale.
Clarkson, meanwhile, was due to show up on TV's "Canada AM" (the Canadian version of the "Today" show), "The Mike Bullard Show" and MuchMusic's "On Demand."
Clark's cancellation comes just as auditions are being held for "Canadian Idol," a spin-off of the spectacular FOX ratings hit. Auditions having been taking place across Canada since April 22, but now, says Billboard, there are concerns that fears over SARS might affect the Toronto auditions set for May 25.
So far, the outbreak -- which reportedly has killed 16 people in the Toronto area -- has also forced cancellations of planned performances by Styx, the Notwist and Lisa Marie Presley.
SARS, which originated in China, has so far killed about 300 people worldwide and infected around 5,000. Its largest outbreak outside of Asia has been in Toronto.
Toronto isn't the only city facing cancellations. SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) also forced Mariah Carey to postpone her June 11 Singapore concert. The Rolling Stones, Carlos Santana, Moby and veteran balladeer Andy Williams also have put concerts on hold.
The Stones were forced to scrap their historic early April debut in China, but they say they will eventually reschedule the show. Santana's Asian tour also was canceled but has already been rescheduled for November.
