SUED: Lisa Brescher, 29, a hairstylist on FOX Sports Network's "The Best Damn Sports Show Period," has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit for unspecified damages against hosts Tom Arnold, 44, and former NBA player John Salley, 38, along with several others involved with the show, says AP. In her court papers, Brescher, who has been on disability leave from the show since February, claims that when she filed a sexual harassment complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Arnold allegedly retaliated by taking her off her "lucrative Sunday shift."
QUOTED: "I personally find it a bit insulting having celebrity judges on the show" -- "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell, 43, on the intrusion of such personalities as Neil Sedaka and Robin Gibb (next week's guest), to USA Today.
DIED: Wrestling personality Elizabeth A. Hulette, 42, known as "Miss Elizabeth," died Thursday in the Georgia home of former pro wrestler Lawrence Pfohl, also known as "Lex Luger." Hulette had been living with Pfohl, says AP. An autopsy is planned. Pfohl, who last month was charged with battery for punching Hulette in the face, was again taken into custody, this time on unrelated drug charges. He was released on bond early Friday, says the news service.
