POSTPONED: On the eve of her three-year concert engagement at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Celine Dion stepped out of the spotlight to postpone her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The award ceremony, originally set for Friday, is now on hold due to the war in Iraq. "I do not feel it is appropriate at this time to celebrate this milestone in my career," the 34-year-old singer tells the Associated Press.
WED: "I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin' Song)" singer Brad Paisley won't be lonely anymore. The 30-year-old country music hunk married actress Kimberly Williams ("According to Jim"), 31, on March 15 in Los Angeles, PEOPLE reports in its latest issue.
BORN: Patricia Arquette and actor Thomas Jane ("Dreamcatcher") are the proud parents of a new daughter, Harlow, PEOPLE also reports. Born Feb. 20 in L.A., she's the first child for the 34-year-old actors, though Arquette has a 13-year-old son from a previous relationship. ... Actor Steven Weber, 42, and his wife, 37-year-old writer Juliette Hohnen, are also new parents. Hohnen gave birth to Alfie James on Feb. 25. They have one other son.
HONORED: Morgan Freeman, 65, who also stars in the new Stephen King-adapted film "Dreamcatcher," was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Tuesday. "This is not something you expect in life," Morgan told reporters. "This is serendipity."
APPEALED: Actor Paul Reubens (best known to the world as Pee-wee Herman) is appealing a Los Angeles Superior Court judge's decision to not dismiss Reubens' misdemeanor child pornography possession charge. Attorneys for the 50-year-old actor argued Monday that the material in his possession was vintage erotica, which predates a statue outlawing possession of such works. The charge carries a maximum sentence of one year in jail.
