Kelly, Justin Ready for Their Close-Ups
Last year's "American Idol" stars are seeing their "Beach Party"-like movie musical released this Friday, though critics are being kept far away.

What do Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini and "The Hulk" have in common? Both have movies opening this Friday.
But one major difference? "From Justin to Kelly," the movie starring last year's "American Idol" stars, is not being screened for critics.
That, along with the fact that the movie's original opening date was pushed back until this week, seems to indicate that a pre-Thanksgiving turkey is about to descend upon the land.
But that's not stopping the cheery Clarkson, 21, and Guarini, 24 -- who have long denied any romance -- from heavily promoting their screen effort.
"Hair and makeup sucked!" Clarkson tells USA Today. "Girls would have to wake up earlier, like at 4 a.m., and get started. I would hate it because I never had a day off. The day I was supposed to have off, they brought me in to practice hair and makeup."
Chimed in Guarini: "Oh, poor you! Boo-hoo!"
The movie is said to be in the spirit of the 1960s "Beach Party" movies, with Guarini and Clarkson playing singers who fall in love while breaking into song under the Miami sun.
Meanwhile, latest "AI" champ Ruben Studdard, 24, will make his movie debut next March alongside Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar in "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed." The Associated Press reports that the big guy will play the lead singer in a band hired for a party, and he'll sing Earth, Wind & Fire's "Shining Star."
That leaves this year's runner-up, Clay Aiken, 25, who so far isn't in any movie, though he is in Rolling Stone. He tells that magazine that he's been estranged from his father practically from the time he was 1, he owns 16 pairs of shoes, he bites his toenails, is scared of cats and water, and is heterosexual.
