One of Hollywood's favorite pin-up boys is officially off the singles list.
"Dawson's Creek" heartthrob James Van Der Beek, 26, married actress Heather McComb, also 26, over the long holiday weekend in an outdoor ceremony in Malibu, reports the Associated Press. They had become engaged earlier this year, PEOPLE.com reported Feb. 21.
Saturday's decidedly "Dawson's" affair -- Van Der Beek played the hopelessly romantic Dawson Leery for six years -- included the leading man's costars Michelle Williams, Meredith Monroe, Busy Philipps, Hal Ozsan and Mary-Margaret Humes.
Fellow actors Soleil Moon Frye, Teri Polo, Essence Atkins and Eric Balfour were also there, says AP.
The bride -- whose credits include the 1998 movie "Apt Pupil" as well as appearances on TV's "Profiler" and "Party of Five" -- wore a Vera Wang gown, while the groom sported Armani, according to Van Der Beek's publicist, Cindy Guagenti.
The actor's uncle, a recently licensed minister, performed the ceremony, with Van Der Beek's brother, Jared, serving as best man and McComb's sister, Jennifer, as maid of honor.
Under the white organza tent that housed the reception (the precise location of the nuptials has not been revealed), the couple had two wedding cakes: a triple-berry flavor selected by McComb and a toffee-fudge alternative that was Van Der Beek's choice.
On Sunday the couple left for their honeymoon at an undisclosed location.
"Dawson's Creek" ended its six-year run in May. Van Der Beek's movie credits include 1999's "Varsity Blues" and 2002's "The Rules of Attraction."
