Harrison's Apartment for Sale: $18 Mil

The 12-room, Central Park West duplex apartment that recent PEOPLE coverboy Harrison Ford shared with his soon-to-be ex-wife, screenwriter Melissa Mathison, is on the market, reports the weekly newspaper the New York Observer.

Asking price: $18 million – for which a new owner would get four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a wet bar, formal dining room, fireplace and apparently some pretty nifty views of Central Park.

The building itself is located in the West 70s, near the famed Dakota, and its other celebrity tenants include a Broadway musical star and a network evening news anchor. The Ford-Mathison apartment reportedly occupies the 14th and 15th floors.

The Observer notes that the divorce between Ford and Mathison, who were married for 17 years, has yet to be finalized, nor have its financial details been hammered out, putting into question who might benefit most from the sale of the apartment. (The couple separated in 2000, and used to divide their time between the New York pad and their 800-acre spread in Jackson Hole, Wyo. They have two children: Malcolm, 16, and Georgia, 12.)

Ford, 60, of course, has declared his love for former "Ally McBeal" star Calista Flockhart, 38, confirming that fact in PEOPLE two weeks ago, as a matter of fact.

As far as real estate is concerned, however, the "Indiana Jones" star also purchased a 5,000-sq.-ft. penthouse in New York's Chelsea neighborhood in January of last year, says the Observer.

The paper also quotes Ford as recently telling a reporter about his relationship with Flockhart: "Do you think we moved in together to save rent?"
