BORN: Salsa and pop sensation Marc Anthony, 34, and his wife, former Miss Universe Dayanara Muniz, 28, welcomed a new son, Ryan Anthony Muniz, on Saturday morning at North Shore University Hospital in Long Island, his publicist tells the Associated Press. The couple have a 2-year-old son, Cristian, and Anthony has an 9-year-old daughter, Arianna, from a previous relationship.

RELEASED: Hall of Fame jockey Gary Stevens, 40, who currently stars in "Seabiscuit," was released from Northwest Community Hospital Tuesday, three days after he fell from his horse and was nearly trampled at the Arlington Million. A hospital spokesman told news agencies that Stevens -- who fell from Storming Home just after crossing the finish line and was stepped on by a horse -- left "in good condition." He suffered a collapsed lung and a fractured vertebra, and is expected to be sidelined for a month.
BEQUEATHED: Late Bee Gees singer Maurice Gibb, who died last January following surgery on his intestines, left his wife of 30 years, Yvonne Gibb, more than $2 million, the copyrights to his music and their homes in England, Miami Beach, Spain and the Bahamas, according to the Miami Herald's inspection of the musician's last will and testament. Gibb, who was 53, also left trust funds for his children Adam, 27, and Samantha, 22.
