The Fab Five from "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" -- Carson Kressley (fashion), Thom Filicia (interior design), Ted Allen (food and wine), Kyan Douglas (grooming) and Jai Rodriguez (culture) -- are now going the sitcom route.

Already staples of the talk-show circuit, the sudden stars of Bravo's breakthrough reality series will appear and play themselves in this coming season's second episode of the NBC comedy "Good Morning, Miami," says the Hollywood Reporter.

The episode, which will also feature guest stars Jillian Barberie and Tiffani Thiessen, is scheduled for Oct. 7.

According to the show's executive producer, Bill Prady, the "Miami" writing staff is fond of the Fab Five, who, in turn, had expressed an interest in appearing as guest stars. The show, which stars Mark Feuerstein and Ashley Williams, was created by Emmy winners Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, who are also behind "Will & Grace."

"It was a wonderful confluence of things that all came together," Prady tells the trade paper. "And considering the way we dress, we were looking for a way to get ourselves made over at the show's expense."

In a scene scheduled to be filmed on Wednesday, the guys will meet Dylan (Williams) and Jake (Feuerstein) in New York, where the couple moves, and will transform their little studio apartment into a nice living space.
