Music, media and fashion entrepreneur Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs is adding another credit to his resume: automotive force.

Billboard reports that Combs, 32, has aligned with Ford Motor Company's Lincoln division to release the limited-edition Sean John Navigator -- a new version of the luxury SUV. And it's very limited edition: only 100 will be manufactured, with a sticker price of $85,000, says the music publication.

"We saw there was a void in the marketplace for a high-end luxury, custom-edition vehicle that reflected style, class and luxury," says Josh Taekman, who orchestrated the Combs-Ford marriage through Buzztone, a lifestyle marketing company for which he is president. Taekman is a former executive at Bad Boy Records, which is owned by Combs.

"Sean John was the obvious brand that embodied those traits and had the credibility and innovation to extend itself into the automotive segment. I called Puffy and told him I had a big idea. We met at his house and walked through the idea and how it would work. He said, 'I love the idea, make it happen.'"

The SUV will include 22-inch wheels, black chrome paint treatment, satellite radio, a backup camera, three DVD players, six TV screens, a Sony PlayStation 2, heated and vibrating front seats, a designer clock and tinted windows, says Billboard.

"Puffy was very hands-on in the process," Taekman says. "We worked with the best in breed in design and engineering -- Roush Industries, not only the largest race team in the world but a Tier 1 supplier for engineering and design to Ford and GM."

Taekman added, "The most important element is every vehicle has a three-year/36,000 mile warranty and quality."

Combs is no stranger to the Lincoln Navigator. That was his vehicle of choice when he and then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez sped away from a Times Square nightclub shooting in late 1999. Police discovered a 9-mm handgun inside the vehicle and said that a second handgun had been tossed from the Navigator as it left the crime scene.

Combs was later cleared of charges related to the shooting.
