Thieves Ride Away from Brad Pitt Movie
Police say it was an in-house job on the set of "Troy," as men make off with a four-wheel all-terrain vehicle, a chainsaw and an air compressor.

First came a hurricane, and then another ill wind: Six security guards hired to protect the Cabo San Lucas set of "Troy," the epic currently shooting with Brad Pitt, have been arrested and charged with stealing, police tell the Associated Press.
The alleged booty reportedly consisted of a 2003 Honda four-wheel all-terrain vehicle (designed for use on sand dunes), a chainsaw and an air compressor, all of which belonged to the production crew and were stolen from the set.
"Troy," based on Homer's "The Iliad," is being directed by Wolfgang Petersen ("The Perfect Storm"), with Pitt playing the hero Achilles, whose job is to save Helen of Troy (Diane Kruger). The movie is due to be released late next spring. The film also stars Peter O'Toole, Orlando Bloom, Eric Bana and Brian Cox.
Cabo San Lucas police captain Francisco Solis tells AP that the half-dozen men -- hired as part of the set's private security force -- repeatedly complained that they hadn't been paid since before Hurricane Monty breezed through Cabo and its environs last week.
Marty reportedly damaged the ships being used in the epic, though filming with the vessels had supposedly been completed. Meanwhile, no word on how the crew is getting around without the four-wheeled bike.
Perhaps they should get a horse. A Trojan one.
