GATHERED: Sting, Sarah McLachlan, Eric Clapton and Barbra Streisand are among the artists who have donated songs to a new compilation aimed at raising funds for Save the Children, reports the Associated Press. Included on the set, due Nov. 18, is the title track, "It's Still Okay To Dream," a new song performed by Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds that he co-wrote with the collection's executive producer, songwriter Carole Bayer Sager. The album leads off with the Celine Dion-Andrea Bocelli duet, "Prayer."

CAST: Democrat Al Sharpton, whose one-liners and pointed rhetoric have added laughs to the presidential campaign, will host "Saturday Night Live" on Dec. 6, reports AP. The show also will feature Pink as the musical guest. "He said he was actually -- for the first time -- nervous," said Sharpton spokeswoman Rachel Noerdlinger. Other political figures who have appeared on the show include Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain, Jesse Jackson and former Vice President Al Gore.
SELECTED: The women of "The View" are close to choosing a fifth co-host, Barbara Walters has announced. The finalists are former MTV "Real World" star Rachel Campos, former "Survivor" castaway Elisabeth Hasselbeck and former soap star Erin Hershey Presley. Each is now doing a one-week tryout. The winner will be revealed Nov. 24.
CHOSEN: On the same day that the world's critics are clobbering "The Matrix Revolutions," results also have been announced from a survey of the worst movies ever made, decided by viewers of BBC One's Film 2003 in England. The "winners" are as follows:
