Britney: Simon Cowell Can 'Shove It'
The pop princess says that if she were an aspiring singer she wouldn't put up with the famous putdowns of the caustic "American Idol" judge.

Making the publicity rounds to promote her new CD "In the Zone," Britney Spears told Britain's ITV1 "This Morning" show Monday that if she were an aspiring pop star, she wouldn't put up with the putdowns of "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell.
"I would take his advice and whatever he said and tell him to shove it," she said.
Not that the pop princess, 21, is dissing the entire "American Idol" phenomenon. (In England, where the show was born, it's called "Pop Idol.")
"I think it's inspiring for kids," she said. "I think people watch that and it gives them hope. You see these kids, they're hungry and they're inspired and they're motivated."
Spears also told "This Morning" that she may move to the British capital, where last week a life-sized dummy of her pole-dancing was unveiled at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum.
"I went to London last week, and it's so cool there," she said. "I'm thinking of moving there, it's really beautiful."
Stateside, Spears tells Newsweek that after posing for a series of topless (and bottomless) spreads in Rolling Stone and Esquire magazine, she's finished with provocative photos in various states of undress.
"I did feel kind of weird after those photos," said Spears, specifically referring to her bottomless shot for Esquire. "I was in a moment. I had, like, eight Red Bulls and said, 'OK, let's do it.' I learned my lesson and you won't see me like that for a while. I'm kinda over it myself.
"Not that it's dirty or tacky, but it is really revealing and I wouldn't want my kid, at 21, to be dressing like that."
She also claims to be done with dating for a while, given her very public breakup with Justin Timberlake. And she swears she is not seeing anyone.
"There was a time when I was like, 'OK, I'm over men. They're mean,'" she tells the news magazine. "For like six months, not a single thing happened. Not like they weren't drawn to me, but there wasn't a single real attraction. I'm like, 'What's happening? I know I'm not a lesbian.'"
