The list is narrowing on ABC's "The Bachelor," as Meredith was left rose-less on Wednesday night's episode. Meanwhile, Estella was happy to get her bloom -- the symbol that she's still in the race -- even if Bachelor Bob did jab it into her ribs. And Mary and Kelly Jo also remained in the hunt for Bob's heart.

In this latest episode, the remaining four women moved out of the house and each got to introduce Bob to their families on their hometown dates.

For Mary, that was Tampa, Fla., the backdrop for Mary telling Bob she's in love with him and wants him as a life mate. The family is introduced at Mary's sister Carmen's house, and it doesn't go swimmingly at first, given that the folks and Mary's siblings are from Cuba and there's a language barrier. Still, Bob conveys to Mary's dad that his intentions are good. When all is said and done, Bob realizes he has some serious thinking to do.

Then it was on to Wheaton, Ill., to deal with Kelly Jo's high-energized family. Kelly Jo laments that her father is no longer alive to meet Bob, because the old man surely would have loved him, too. Privately, Kelly Jo's mother, Barbara, corners Bob and sells him on her daughter's strong points. Later, Bob tells Kelly that the entire meeting could not have gone better.

In Portland, Ore., Bob and Meredith go swimming, then to pay their respects at the grave of Meredith's grandmother -- her first visit to the site since the recent death. Meeting the surviving members of Meredith's family, Bob extends his condolences and assures Meredith's father he's a very good catch. Afterwards, Bob tells Meredith he loves her family.

Beverly Hills, Calif., is the site for Bob's date with Estella, where he just wants to hang out at her house. He tells her mother that he's looking for someone with a big heart, and that suits mom just fine. She tells Estella to go after Bob.

In the end, the decision was clearly a tough one for Bob, and Meredith proved a good sport, telling him he's still got three wonderful women to choose from -- though if they don't work out, she's always available.
