Justin Timberlake won't be part of NBC's November ratings sweeps after all, the network has announced, but his "Stripped & Justified" concert collaborator, Christina Aguilera, will have her time on the tube later this month.

In Timberlake's case, the musician, who's been on a winning streak all year, will see his previously scheduled Nov. 25 special, "Down Home in Memphis," shifted to sometime around Christmas.

The New York Post quotes NBC officials as saying the show is "too intimate," though they gave no further information -- such as what might be wrong with it, or whether the show also features Cameron Diaz, whom Timberlake is currently dating.

According to the paper, the show does feature the 'N Sync-er taking viewers on a one-hour tour of his Tennessee hometown and pointing out highlights of the city's musical legacy. (Elvis Presley also hailed from there.)

Timberlake, 22, also reportedly performs numbers from his "Justified" album on the show. No firm airdate for the special has been announced.

As for Aguilera, also 22, she will star in her own live performance special Nov. 30 on the WB network. The hourlong "Stripped ... Live in the U.K." was taped earlier this month at London's Wembley Arena, reports Billboard. (The WB, like PEOPLE, is part of Time Warner.)

Aguilera is currently touring in support of her latest album, "Stripped." Released in November 2002, the album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and has sold 3.1 million copies in America, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
