J.Lo Heads List of Razzie Nominees

Capping an already tough weekend for Jennifer Lopez -- whose breakup with Ben Affleck was confirmed late last week -- her spectacularly bad movie with her ex-fiance, the critically reviled box-office flop "Gigli," leads the pack of nominees for the 24th annual Golden Raspberry Awards.

The Razzies, which traditionally pay (mock) tribute to Hollywood's worst achievements of the year, are handed out at a threadbare but generally hilarious little event in Santa Monica the day before the Oscars. (This year, the dishonors will be handed out Saturday, Feb. 28.) In the past three years, the only "winner" to accept his Razzie in person was Tom Green, for 2001's "Freddie Got Fingered."

As for this year's race, "Gigli" joins "Dr. Seuss's The Cat in the Hat," with nine nominations apiece, including worst picture.

Describing "Cat," Golden Raspberry founder John Wilson dubbed it "The Dr. Seuss Mortification Project." Other worst picture nominees are "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," "From Justin to Kelly" and "The Real Cancun."

Worst actor nominees: Affleck in "Daredevil," "Gigli" and "Paycheck"; Cuba Gooding, Jr. in "Boat Trip," "The Fighting Temptations" and "Radio"; Ashton Kutcher in "Cheaper by the Dozen," "Just Married" and "My Boss's Daughter"; Justin Guarini in "From Justin to Kelly" and Mike Myers in "Cat in the Hat."

Only two Charlie's Angels made the worst-actress cut -- Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz -- while other nominees include Kelly Clarkson ("From Justin to Kelly"), Angelina Jolie ("Beyond Borders" and "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life") and J.Lo in "Gigli."

Other familiar names up for Tinseltown's tackiest trophy include former Oscar winners Al Pacino and Christopher Walken (both nominated as worst supporting actor for -- what else? -- "Gigli") and previous Razzie "winner" Kelly Preston and Alec Baldwin (both nominated for their supporting roles in "Cat in the Hat").

And since no Razzies list would be complete without the former "Rocky" star, Wilson points out that Sylvester Stallone has scored his record 30th nomination in 24 years -- this time for playing five roles in "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over."
