FOX's 'Big, Fat' Wedding in Peril
Reality TV's blushing bride-to-be Randi Coy enters a race against the clock to convince her family to attend her wedding ceremony to her "Obnoxious Fiance."

What's not to love about Steve?
Well, if you're Randi Coy, just about everything. The huge, hairy lug -- who has made the last several weeks of Randi's life miserable -- has been perfect in his role as the gross groom-to-be for FOX's reality series "My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance," which wraps up its six-episode run on Monday night.
Coy, who originally thought she was signing up for a reality dating show, is now aiming for a $1-million grand prize. All she needs to do is convince her family that she has fallen in love with the uncoordinated, uncouth Steve -- and get them to show up for their nationally televised wedding.
The kicker, of course, is that Steve and his "family" are really actors hired to push Randi and her conservative, straight-laced parents and siblings to the brink.
With 12 hours remaining before Randi and Steve's wedding, the prospects seem dim for the ceremony coming together. During last week's episode, Randi seemed to have convinced her parents, Bruce and Catherine, that they must attend the wedding. But her three siblings -- particularly older brother Pat -- are holding out.
Meanwhile, Steve's mother introduces her theory about "frozen placenta" into a conversation with all the women, while Steve's pal Jimmy jokes about lap dances during a tux fitting with Randi's father, Bruce.
Now, Randi is pleading with her family to respect her wishes and support her marriage to Steve by showing up for the wedding. Best of luck to the happy couple.
"My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance" airs at 9 p.m. on FOX.
