Zeta-Jones Joins 'Ocean's Twelve'

Can Catherine Zeta-Jones take down criminal mastermind George Clooney? It appears the Welsh-born actress is going to try, joining an all-star cast of shady -- and popular -- characters for "Ocean's Twelve," a sequel to the 2001 crime caper "Ocean's Eleven," Reuters reports.

The 2001 film -- a remake of the 1960 original starring Rat Packers Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop -- featured a cast of modern Hollywood heavyweights led by Clooney in the role of Danny Ocean.

"Eleven" outlined the plotting and ripping off of three Las Vegas casinos. "Ocean's Twelve" will feature plenty of returning stars from the 2001 flick, including Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, Don Cheadle and Andy Garcia, among others.

Zeta-Jones, 34, will play an agent of an Interpol-type police organization, says Reuters.

The wife of Michael Douglas is coming off last year's "Intolerable Cruelty," the Coen brothers' comedy in which she starred opposite Clooney. She also won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar last year for her role as Velma Kelly in 2002's Best Picture, "Chicago."

The movie will be shot in several locations, including Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Monte Carlo, Chicago and Las Vegas. Steven Soderbergh, who directed the 2001 version, will return behind the camera.

Zeta-Jones previously worked with Soderbergh on the modern morality tale, "Traffic."
