Angelina Jolie's schedule is filling up.
The Oscar-winning actress will not only be a presenter for Sunday's Academy Awards, but she'll also extend her goodwill through this summer, when she helps carry the torch at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.
Jolie, 29, will run in one of the last legs of the torchbearer relay on Aug. 12, preceding the lighting of the Olympic cauldron on Aug. 13 during the opening ceremony.
"I would consider it an honor to run with the Olympic torch as a gesture of hope for refugees and to express my active support for sport and world peace," Jolie said in a letter that was released to Olympic organizers. Jolie is a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees.
Jolie, a Best Supporting Actress Oscar winner for "Girl, Interrupted," also will be appearing in a couple new films this year, including the crime thriller "Taking Lives" with Ethan Hawke and Kiefer Sutherland (due in March) and "Alexander," the story of the Macedonian conqueror Alexander the Great, alongside an all-star cast that includes Colin Farrell, Anthony Hopkins and Jared Leto.
