NEWS BRIEFS: 'Seinfeld' Star Talks Peace

LAUNCHED: "Seinfeld" star and KFC spokesman Jason Alexander wasn't talking chicken when he spoke out about a grassroots Middle East peace plan in Tel Aviv, Israel, on Tuesday. Alexander was trumpeting the "One Voice" campaign, which hopes to get Israelis and Palestinians to vote on a peace agreement via the Internet, the Associated Press reports. IBM will tabulate the votes at its Israeli headquarters, and proponents of the group hope they can use those results to hammer out an agreement. The campaign has received support from such celebrities as Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.

RETURNED: Pop star Prince is taking his show on the road for a tour that will feature the 45-year-old singer's greatest hits, AP reports. Prince will reportedly turn to such classics as "When Doves Cry" and "Little Red Corvette." The tour begins March 29 in Los Angeles and is expected to travel to 38 cities. It will be the first time Prince has toured in six years.

HUSTLED: Controversial baseball great Pete Rose will be the subject of an upcoming ESPN movie titled "Hustle," AP reports. Rose recently released an autobiography in which he admitted to betting on the game. The movie will detail the events in the mid and late 1980s that resulted in Rose's lifetime ban from the game.

PARODIED: What will Bobby and Cindy think? Florence Henderson, the former matriarch of "The Brady Bunch," has taken on a different role in a new stage show called "Florida Follies," reports trade publication the Hollywood Reporter. The stage show, in which Henderson reportedly appears in a black vinyl miniskirt and bustier carrying a whip, is said to be a parody of the all-American housewife.
