Schwimmer, Kudrow Look Past Friends
Ross and Phoebe's real-life alter egos are going into high gear, with his directing and producing pilots, and her possible gig with Paul Reiser.

While Monica (Courteney Cox) drove Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) nuts by taking over Pheeb's wedding plans on Thursday night's episode of "Friends," the real-life cast members are busy making their own plans for when the sitcom folds in May.
David Schwimmer will direct and executive produce NBC's comedy pilot "Nevermind Nirvana," while Lisa Kudrow has been approached by "Mad About You" veteran Paul Reiser to appear in the comedy pilot "My 11:30," according to the Hollywood Reporter.
"My 11:30" is to star Jeff Goldblum as a playboy New York businessman who seeks help from a no-nonsense female shrink, while "Nevermind Nirvana" concerns an East Indian man (Kal Penn) and his Caucasian fiancee (Judy Greer) and their trials and tribulations with his family. The cast also includes comedian Shaun Majumder, who will play the brother of the groom-to-be, says the trade paper.
In addition to "Nevermind Nirvana," Schwimmer is also directing the NBC comedy pilot "Home & Hardware," starring "American Pie" stalwart Alyson Hannigan.
As for a possible Kudrow-Reiser collaboration, the Reporter says that she is considering various ways to help support his pilot, including appearing as a guest star.
The two previously worked together on "Mad About You," where Kudrow established herself as ditsy waitress Ursula (who conveniently became the twin sister of "Friends'" Phoebe when Kudrow moved on to her own NBC sitcom), notes the Reporter, nostalgically.
