Posh Spice is standing by her man. Following her husband David Beckham's formal statement that he wasn't messing around with his personal assistant, Victoria Beckham insisted on Tuesday that her marriage to the English soccer hero will survive, reports Reuters.
The tabloid whirlwind began when sexually explicit text messages, said to have been between Beckham, 28, and assistant Rebecca Loos, 26,, were printed in Britain's sensational News of the World last weekend, along with a photo of Beckman and Loos together.
On Monday, Beckham released a statement calling the tabloid reports "ridiculous. ... The simple truth is that I am very happily married, have a wonderful wife and two very special kids. There is nothing that any third party can do to change these facts."
Victoria Beckham, who turns 30 on April 17, told the Sun tabloid newspaper for its Tuesday editions: "We have been through a lot worse than this, and we're definitely going to get through this."
The Beckhams also staged a very public display of affection for paparazzi as David joined his wife and two sons on a skiing holiday in the French Alps, says Reuters.
Loos, the daughter of a Dutch diplomat and an English mother, worked for Beckham when he moved to Spain last September to join the team Real Madrid after achieving superstar status with Manchester United.
Meanwhile, tales of her alleged sexual appetite and purportedly wild flings filled pages of the Sun, Mirror and Express newspapers while the Daily Mail comment page condemned Victoria and David as stupid and vain, blaming them for their current troubles, Reuters reports.
