"Hercules" actor Kevin Sorbo's wife gave birth to a son of epic proportions on Wednesday, PEOPLE reports.
Sorbo and his wife, Sam, are the proud parents of a 12-lb. 6-oz. boy -- no small feat. The unnamed child is the second for the Sorbos, joining the couple's 2-year-old brother, Braeden.
The beefy 45-year-old native Minnesotan starred in the television series "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" from 1995-99. The hour-long show, whose third season was recently released on DVD, developed a strong cult following.
Sorbo also stars in the Gene Rodenberry series "Andromeda," and he had the lead role in the 1997 action film "Kull the Conqueror." He also has guest-starred on a number of shows, including a recent appearance on ABC's "Hope & Faith."
