Whatever happens with Ryan Seacrest's marriage plans, he'll never have trouble finding a wedding singer.
Reps for the "American Idol" host, who also stars in his own "On Air with Ryan Seacrest," are brushing off a report in the New York Post's Page Six column that he quietly got engaged to his girlfriend, Shanna Walls.
While the Post says Seacrest wants to keep it under wraps because he doesn't want to dampen his popularity with young girls, his rep told the paper, "They are just dating."
Meanwhile, Seacrest, 29, helped play cupid on Monday when Miss USA Susie Castillo, 23, received a surprise proposal from boyfriend Matthew Leslie, 24, who got down on one knee and presented Castillo with a diamond and pink sapphire ring during the "On-Air" broadcast.
"I had no clue," Castillo told the Associated Press afterward. "Ryan Seacrest was dropping hints left and right. I had no idea until Ryan said, 'Matt has something to ask you.'"
Leslie and Castillo, who met as students at Endicott College in their home state of Massachusetts, have been dating for 4 1/2 years.
