One of the best places to spot celebs these days isn't a trendy club – it's at the new Sports Club/LA in Beverly Hills. The $25 million facility features a Zen-inspired Reception Lounge with bamboo gardens and waterfall; a 10,000-sq.-ft., fully equipped gym with state-of-the-art weight training equipment; and a 150-piece cardiovascular center, with each machine sporting its own personal television. The pop singer has a long history of charitable work: In 2002, she helped to raise $100 million for the hospital (an amount she hopes to match this year). She brought in millions of dollars in donations for cystic fibrosis after a niece died of the disease, and in 1996, she visited poor families in her hometown of Charlemagne, Quebec, and gave each family $100,000 – a total of $1.4 million.
