DIDDY'S BLUES
What does the man who has everything buy to accessorize his offices? What else but designer refrigerators. P. Diddy bought six of the appliances (at $420 apiece), created by the makers of the hip-hop drink of choice, Hpnotiq, and had them installed into the executive offices at Bad Boy records. "They are souped-up versions of the mini fridge you would have at college," says a rep for Hpnotiq. And they come stocked with plenty of the blue alcoholic beverage, a blend of vodka, cognac and tropical fruit juices.
NEW YEAR'S WITH THE STARS
"I am usually really boring on New Year's," Will & Grace star Megan Mullally tells the Daily Insider. "My husband and I just stay home." But this year, Mullally – along with fellow Golden Globe nominee Scarlett Johansson and other celebrities including Mark McGrath, Freaky Friday's Lindsay Lohan, Chloe Sevigny, Chris Noth and Mona Lisa Smile's Dominic West – got dolled up and headed to New York club Lobby for M&M's Black and White New Year's Eve party. "I'm not jaded enough not to really enjoy this party," Sugar Ray singer McGrath said. "I just met (The Fast and the Furious star) Jordana Brewster. My heart's on the floor." Lohan looked very grown-up in Dolce & Gabbana heels and a black minidress. "I'm a little self-conscious because it's so tight," she confessed.
DOING THE DANCE
Proving she can do more than Scream, Neve Campbell helped develop the dance movie The Company, as well as starring in it. "Getting the film made was a big challenge," she said at the film's recent New York premiere. "As a female doing a project that's about a ballet company, it's not the easiest sell." One colleague who was certainly impressed was Richard Gere. "Ballet is next (for me)," kidded the actor, who will strut his stuff with Jennifer Lopez in Shall We Dance? this fall. "It's the only thing I haven't done."
