January 16, 2004THE DREAM TEAM
Perhaps you've seen the Fab Five from NBC's Queer Eye for the Straight Guy
in their TV ad for the NBA, one of the basketball league's "1,000 reasons why I love this game" spots. In the ad, style guru Carson Kressley
says, "I love this game, even though we're the real Dream Team." And Kyan Douglas,
the show's grooming god, says he loves it "because the tattoos really bring out the personality." But the ads were improvised, and PEOPLE.com has learned some of the Fab Five's more, well, sensitive comments, which won't be aired. The real reason Carson loves the game? "Because Charles Barkley
is hot!" He also expressed affection for Dennis Rodman,
and noted that, while watching basketball, "if you're lucky, you get to see a nipple every now and then." As for Kyan's true feelings: "I love this game because it has big balls!" NO CABLE FOR TV STAR ... Sopranos
star Michael Imperioli
will be back on the small screen when his hit Mob series returns to HBO on March 8 – but he won't be watching it. "I don't have cable," the actor admits. "I like to monitor my kid's viewing and that is the only way to do it. So we get lots of DVDs." ... AND NO TV FOR TRUMP? Donald Trump
may be the star of his own reality show, The Apprentice,
but he says he usually doesn't watch them. "I'm not a big television person because I'm so busy," he tells PEOPLE.com. "I'm the biggest developer in New York by far; I'm building 11 buildings in Manhattan. It doesn't give me a lot of time to watch television." Okay, but somehow we think The Donald finds the time to watch his own show. CAUGHT IN THE ACT Recently spotted:
