HIS & HERS
Kirsten Dunst knows boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal well enough to know that he can pick out his own skin products, thank you very much. When Dunst stopped in at the Kiehl's Lounge at Sundance to pick up some free stuff, staff members asked if she wanted some things for Gyllenhaal. "Oh, no, he knows exactly what he wants," she said. Sure enough, when Gyllenhaal came in a few minutes later, he immediately went for his favorite products, including the men's shaving cream and all-purpose facial moisturizer. "Don't rush me!" he teased Dunst as she got ready to leave. The two seemed "completely confident with each other," says an observer. "As if they'd been together forever."
MORE YOUNG LOVE ...
Another young star couple, That '70s Show's Mila Kunis and former Home Alone kid Macaulay Culkin, were "so lovey-dovey" at Sundance, says a spy. "They were kissing and being really cute." Kunis is planning to go all the way to Japan to spend Valentine's Day with her sweetie, who will be there promoting his movie Party Monster.
PONCH'S PAST REVEALED
It can't be easy shacking up with five other celebs on the WB reality series The Surreal Life, but Erik Estrada has had it worse. "My dad was a heroin addict," the 54-year-old actor tells us. "My mom kicked his ass out when I was 2. So I started working at 5 selling snow cones in Harlem with my grandfather." What did he do for fun in those younger years? "I used to rob Gimbels department store ... I just never got caught," says Estrada, who, of course, went on to play a cop on Chips. "And I used to pop parking meters. We would saw them off and take them to an alley and keep banging on them until they opened up. When you are a kid, man, $2 is a lot of money."
CAUGHT IN THE ACT
Recently spotted:
Katie Holmes, dining with Kelly Ripa and eight others at Dolce in West Hollywood.
Heath Ledger, wearing a fedora-like hat low around his face, blending among the hipsters at the Spider Club in Hollywood.
Selma Blair and new husband Ahmet Zappa, holding hands while walking Blair's dog, Wink, in West Hollywood.
Reported by: SEAN DALY, JULIE JORDAN, LIZZ LEONARD and MARISA LAUDADIO
Jennifer Garner, Val Kilmer ...: NEXT>
