WHEN A PALM PILOT WON'T DO
At a black-tie gala honoring director Oliver Stone at the recent Bangkok Film Festival, actress Bai Ling enjoyed chatting with Val Kilmer so much that she wanted to exchange phone numbers with him – but apparently neither of them had a slip of paper. "First she wrote her phone number on his shirt sleeve in blue magic marker," a spy told us. "Then he wrote his number right on her belly."
LOVE AMONG FRIENDS
If you were worried about Tiffani Thiessen following the end of her engagement to actor Richard Ruccolo (of TV's Two Guys and a Girl) in April, don't. She seemed quite happy with her new boyfriend, actor Brady Smith, when the two attended the Bangkok International Film Festival together last week. The former Saved by the Bell star met her new man via her best friend, fellow Beverly Hills, 90210 alum Jennie Garth, after Smith made a guest appearance on Garth's WB series What I Like About You. Says Thiessen: "Jennie gets thanked every day."
ALL IN THE FAMILY
When Marie Claudinette Jean shows off the newest designs from her Fusha couture line on Feb. 12, during New York's Fashion Week, her husband, hip-hop star Wyclef Jean, won't be in the audience. Instead, he'll be right up on the catwalk, performing live music to accompany the strutting models. He's even enlisted sexy star Foxy Brown to join him in the show.
