After kicking off the 20-date Ladies First tour with Alicia Keys and Missy Elliott in Florida on Friday, Beyonce celebrated by hitting new hotspot Mansion in Miami's South Beach on Saturday with beau Jay-Z. The couple, who partied at the club from midnight until about 3 a.m., socialized with one of the owners, Eric Milon, and were friendly to fans who approached them, a spy tells Daily Insider. The pair also sang along with some of the tunes the club played, including their own hit "Crazy in Love" – which Jay-Z had performed with Beyonce the night before in concert.

It isn't stage fright making CNN American Morning anchor Soledad O'Brien queasy these days – she is pregnant with twins, due in August. "There's no polite way to put it – I get up, I run to the ladies' room, I throw up, I come back and I sit back down," O'Brien told us at Irish America magazine's Top 100 gala Tuesday in Manhattan, where she was honored. Luckily for O'Brien, she has a friend she can rely on: co-anchor Bill Hemmer. "No one has been nicer," she says. "My joke with Bill is that the only thing grosser than being someone who has to get up in the middle of a show to throw up is being the person who sits next to the person who has to throw up."
Halle Berry may be an Oscar winner, but she's not above doing a made-for-TV movie – at least when Oprah Winfrey is producing. Berry will star in Their Eyes Were Watching God, adapted from the book by Harlem Renaissance writer Zora Neale Hurston, which begins shooting in April. ... Drew Barrymore turned 29 Feb. 22, but the celebration continues: Her producing partner Nancy Juvonen threw her a party at her Hollywood Hills home March 14. Well-wishers included George Clooney and Owen Wilson. ... Minnie Driver is working on her first album as an alternative-country singer-songwriter. "It's hard for people to take actresses as songwriters seriously," she says, "but I'm stoked!"
CAUGHT IN THE ACT
Mariah Carey, dining at Bread in New York's TriBeCa neighborhood with a mystery man. In spite of the "I'm-going-incognito" sunglasses she wore, a waiter recognized her and told us she had also dined there the previous Monday.
