THE COLORFUL CAMERON
Cameron Diaz got a last-minute hair coloring from her favorite stylist, Corey Powell, owner of The Parlour of Beauty, before heading off to join boyfriend Justin Timberlake on tour in Germany. The Charlie's Angels star joined Nicole Eggert, Tia Carrere and The O.C.'s Melinda Clarke at the exclusive West 3rd Street salon during Spa Day L.A., when 20 percent of revenues from goods and services were donated to the charity Aid for AIDS.
HERE, KITTY KITTY
Hollywood can't seem to get enough Hello Kitty Pink Head merchandise. At a recent launch party to celebrate the new line of trendy jewelry, designer Tarina Tarantino told us she plans to auction off the necklace Cameron Diaz wore on one of her first dates with Justin Timberlake (retail $175) to raise money for AIDS research. "Hilary Duff is also a big fan – she just ordered a vintage-style cameo pendant, a rainbow pendant and some earrings," Tarantino said. Her biggest supporters? "The Hilton sisters. Between them, they have everything (about 65 pieces). They're Hello Kitty freaks!"
CAUGHT IN THE ACT
Spotted recently:
Avril Lavigne, hanging out in the VIP area at Blink-182's show at the Avalon in Hollywood. A few feet away, former porn star Ron Jeremy appeared to be falling asleep as a female friend gave him a neck rub.
Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, dining with a group of friends at Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica. Says our spy: "(Ashton) looked like a large child."
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, in a Mercedes SUV, narrowly avoiding a fender bender on a small street in L.A.'s Brentwood area on his way to drop off his kids at school.
Billy Crystal, receiving high honors from the Friars Club when the 100-year-old comedy enclave named its downstairs lounge after him. Friends Robert De Niro, Jerry Orbach, Joe Torre and Bob Costas were on hand at the dedication ceremony.
