Better Late ...
Three years after getting married, Christina Applegate and Johnathon Schaech finally took their honeymoon, visiting Bora Bora Nui Resort in Tahiti recently. During their 10-day stay, the duo took in massages and dips in the infinity pool – they even hosted a farewell reception in their suite for other vacationing couples that they befriended. "The best thing was jumping off the balcony of our room into the water," says Applegate.
Second Time Around
Sharon Stone and her ex-boyfriend, lawyer Bernie Cahill, have rekindled their romance and are back together, her rep has confirmed. Recently, Stone had a joint party with Christina Aguilera at L.A. hotspot 40 Deuce to celebrate their boyfriends' birthdays (Christina is dating music management exec Jordan Bratman). The lovebirds also made an appearance at the Lakers playoff game on June 8 before catching an industry screening of Michael Moore's documentary Fahrenheit 9/11, which also drew Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Leonardo DiCaprio and Jack Black, among others.
Soul Man
If you didn't think daytime talk kingpin Jerry Springer had a soul ... well, he's got one now. David Soul, that is – the original Hutch of TV's Starsky and Hutch and crooner of the late '70s hit ballad "Don't Give Up On Us." Seems Mr. Soul has signed on to play the titular character in the London-based musical Jerry Springer – The Opera, in which the talkmeister tries to reconcile good and evil as he deals with his usual motley assortment of guests. Catch Soul from July 12 into January 2005 at London's Cambridge Theatre. And, if you can't make it to London but just want more David Soul (you can admit it, you're among friends ...), he is planning to release a new version of "Don't Give Up On Us," along with an album, later this year, according to his Web site.
